What We Do
Smith Rancho is in Agner Mountain Ranching for Wildlife so we are able to hunt elk, deer, and antelope for ninety days. No hunting applications are necessary, and licenses are guaranteed.
Hunt deer, elk, and antelope on 50,000 privately owned acres in Northwest Colorado. The ranch headquarters are located ten miles north of Hayden, and 22 miles west of Steamboat Springs.
You will see more elk than you have ever seen before—unless you have hunted with us in the past. Smith Rancho is one of Northwest Colorado’s premier elk and mule deer hunting ranches. You will have a hunting experience you will never forget when you visit us in the beautiful Rocky Mountains.
We offer elk, deer, and antelope hunts with a limit of 5-6 hunters in camp. We also offer combination hunts such as elk/deer combos, and elk/antelope or deer/antelope hunts. All hunts are three day hunts with the hunter arriving the night before his hunt begins.
Brad Smith is the master outfitter and has been guiding since 1971. We provide complete guiding and outfitting services including food, shelter, guiding, and transportation to and from hunting. Guides will be furnished for hunters at a ratio of 2 hunters per guide. All guides are familiar with the area to be hunted and have previous experience guiding hunters.
